Pirrewit and the Laughing Contest
On a sunny day, Pirrewit Wit Wit, the little gnome who lives in a hollow tree, decided to organize a special contest for all his forest friends. It wasn’t an ordinary contest, but a laughing contest!
“Who can last the longest without laughing?” Pirrewit announced, jumping onto a small bench. All his friends—the bunnies, the birds, and even a couple of little squirrels—sat in a circle.
“Alright, listen carefully to the rhyme!” Pirrewit said with a big smile.
“Thumbs up high, let’s start the game,
Whoever laughs is out of the frame.
If you show your hands or teeth,
You’ll get ten pats upon your seat!“
They all tried to stay serious, hands still in their laps, mouths closed tight. But when the little squirrel made a funny face, a tiny bunny couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst out laughing!
“Oh oh!” cried Pirrewit. “That means pats on the back!” He jumped up and gave the bunny ten soft pats on its back, just like in the rhyme.
Everyone laughed along, and soon the game wasn’t about staying serious anymore, but about having fun together!
After the story, Pirrewit asked his friends, “Would you like to see a picture of our laughing contest?“
Would you also like to see Pirrewit and his friends laughing together?
Hahaha, yes
Hahaha super! 🏆😂
