The Bear Cubs’ Class and the New School Year
Once upon a time, deep in the Great Forest, there was a cozy little school hidden among the tall trees and whispering reeds. But this was no ordinary school; it was the school of the Bear Cubs’ Class! Every day, the little bear cubs would come here to learn, play, and go on adventures.
It was the first day of the new school year, and all the bear cubs were very excited. They had filled their backpacks with their favorite snacks: honey cookies, blueberries, and a few nuts for the road. They wore their nicest scarves and hats because it was already a bit chilly in the forest. The leaves on the trees were starting to change color, which meant autumn was on its way.
At the school, Miss Berendien, their kind and gentle bear teacher, was already waiting at the door. She was a sweet, older bear with soft, brown fur and a big pair of glasses on her nose. “Welcome, welcome, dear bears!” she called out cheerfully. “Today, we’re going to have a beary wonderful day!”
The bear cubs found their places in the classroom, and soon the first lesson began: making music with forest instruments! Miss Berendien brought out her acorn maracas and chestnut drum set, and soon cheerful music filled the forest. The squirrels in the trees twitched their tails to the rhythm, and even the little birds came to see what was happening.
After the music lesson, it was time for an exciting walk through the forest. “We’re going on an autumn treasure hunt!” said Miss Berendien. Each bear cub got a small basket, and together they walked in a line through the forest. They searched for beautiful leaves, shiny stones, and glossy chestnuts. Little Bear Boris found an acorn with a funny hat, and Bear Floor found a feather that sparkled in the sunlight.
When they returned to the school, they made a beautiful autumn display with all their treasures. “Look how lovely,” said Miss Berendien proudly. “You all did such a wonderful job, little bears! This is going to be a fantastic school year full of adventures.”
And so the first day of the new school year in the Bear Cubs’ Class ended with laughter, music, and lots of new friends. The bear cubs couldn’t wait to go back to school the next day.
