Pirrewit sings a lullaby for a little bear cub
Pirrewitje lives in a hollowed-out tree in the magical forest. One evening, as the sun was setting and the stars were starting to twinkle, Pirrewitje heard a little bear cub crying. The cub, named Bobo, had lost his way and couldn’t find his mother.
Pirrewitje approached Bobo and gently patted his head. “Don’t worry, little one,” Pirrewitje said softly. “I’ll help you find your mother. But first, let’s sing a lullaby to help you feel calm and safe.“
Pirrewitje sat on a large mushroom and invited Bobo to sit next to them. With a soothing voice, Pirrewitje began to sing a sweet lullaby:
“Close your eyes, little bear,
Dream of forests full of care.
With the moon up in the sky,
Let your worries drift and fly.
Stars will guide you through the night,
‘Til the morning’s gentle light.
Close your eyes and rest your head,
Dream of home and your warm bed.”
As Pirrewitje sang, the forest seemed to glow with a magical light. The rabbits, squirrels, and birds gathered around to listen to the enchanting lullaby. Slowly, Bobo’s eyes began to close, and he felt safe and warm.
After the lullaby, Pirrewitje gently carried the sleeping Bobo to his hollowed-out tree and made a cozy bed of soft leaves and moss. “Sleep well, little one,” Pirrewitje whispered, “Tomorrow, we’ll find your mother.”
The next morning, Pirrewitje and Bobo set off to find Bobo’s mother. With the help of their forest friends, they soon found her. Bobo and his mother were joyfully reunited, and they thanked Pirrewitje for the kindness and care.
Pirrewitje waved them goodbye and returned to the hollowed-out tree, happy to have helped another friend in the magical forest.
