Pirrewit decorates the chapel of Mary
In a beautiful forest, not far from here, lived a kind little gnome named Pirrewitje. He had a small house in a hollowed-out tree, surrounded by his animal friends and many colorful flowers. It was a bright spring day, and the sun was shining cheerfully through the leaves.
Pirrewitje decided it was the perfect day to visit the flower meadow. This meadow was famous for its countless beautiful flowers in all the colors of the rainbow. He wanted to decorate the chapel of Maria, which was a little further in the forest, with the most beautiful flowers he could find.
With a small basket in his hand, Pirrewitje cheerfully skipped to the flower meadow. Along the way, he met his friend, the squirrel Suzy. “Hello Pirrewitje, where are you going?” Suzy asked curiously.
“I’m going to pick flowers in the meadow to decorate the chapel of Maria,” Pirrewitje replied cheerfully. “Do you want to help me, Suzy?“
“That sounds fun!” Suzy exclaimed enthusiastically. Together they continued, with Suzy darting back and forth between the trees.
When they arrived at the flower meadow, they stood still for a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view. There were red, yellow, blue, purple, and white flowers as far as the eye could see. Pirrewitje and Suzy started carefully picking the most beautiful flowers. They looked for daisies, poppies, blue cornflowers, and forget-me-nots.
As they picked, they sang cheerful songs and laughed at the dancing butterflies fluttering around them. After a while, they had their basket full of the most beautiful flowers. Satisfied, they headed towards the chapel of Maria.
When they arrived at the chapel, Pirrewitje and Suzy started arranging the flowers around the statue of Maria. They made beautiful wreaths and neatly placed the colorful flowers. The chapel soon looked stunning, as if it was entirely decorated by nature itself.
When they were done, Pirrewitje sat down for a moment to admire the beautiful work. “Thank you, Suzy,” he said gratefully. “With your help, the chapel looks more beautiful than ever before.“
“It was a pleasure, Pirrewitje,” Suzy smiled. “I’m glad I could help.“
Together they enjoyed the peaceful moment at the chapel, surrounded by the flowers they had picked with so much love.
“Would you like to see a beautiful drawing of the decorated chapel and the flower meadow?” Pirrewitje finally asked.
Let me know if you would like to see a drawing!
Here is the drawing of Suzy picking flowers in the meadow and decorating the chapel of Maria. I hope you like it!
