The snow slide

On a sparkling winter afternoon, after making the snow figures, Pirrewitje looked out over the soft, white snow-covered ground and had a brilliant idea. “Why don’t we make a snow slide?” he suggested to his friends.

All the animals in the forest immediately got excited at the idea. They began gathering a large pile of snow together on a small hill. The squirrels leaped from branch to branch, collecting snow with their tiny paws, and the rabbits hopped around happily, pushing snow with their noses. Even the deer pitched in, using their strong legs to gather the snow.

Pirrewitje, with his small shovel, worked hard to smooth out the snow. Soon, they had created a perfectly smooth, glistening slide. “Done!” cried Pirrewitje. “Let’s slide!“

One by one, they slid down. The squirrels did somersaults in the air, the rabbits hopped playfully down, and the deer slid gracefully with their antlers held high. Smurfette squealed with joy as he slid down on his belly, his red hat fluttering behind him.

After each slide, they laughed and applauded each other. They rolled in the snow, made snow angels, and playfully tossed soft snowballs at one another. The air was filled with their laughter and cheerful cries.

As the sun began to sink behind the trees, painting the sky pink and orange, they knew it was time to go home. But the memories of their joyful afternoon on the slide would linger in their hearts for a long time.

“Today was so much fun!” Pirrewitje exclaimed as he looked at the glittering slide. “I love winter and all the fun we have together!“
