Pirrewit Travels to Egypt in a Dream

On a sunny autumn day, Pirrewit Wit Wit sat by the pond, listening to the gentle rippling of the water and enjoying the soft sound of falling leaves. Earlier that day, the Nile geese had told him stories about Egypt, a land of sun and sand, and Pirrewit couldn’t get enough of it. As he sat there, he felt his eyes slowly closing.

Suddenly, he noticed he was no longer by the pond. Pirrewit looked around and saw nothing but golden sand as far as he could see. The sky was blue and clear, and high above, the Nile geese circled. “Pirrewit!” called one of them. “Are you ready to explore Egypt?”

Pirrewit nodded excitedly and, to his surprise, realized he now had wings! He flapped his wings and soared into the sky, flying alongside the Nile geese. Together, they glided over a wide, sparkling river. “This is the Nile,” one goose explained. “It flows through all of Egypt and brings life to the land.”

Below, Pirrewit saw large animals splashing in the water. “Are those… crocodiles?” he asked, astonished. The goose nodded. “Yes, and over there, you can see hippos bathing in the sun.”

They flew further and reached enormous triangular buildings that gleamed in the sunlight. “Those are the pyramids!” Pirrewit exclaimed in awe. “They’re so big!”

The Nile geese chuckled. “Indeed, Pirrewit! These pyramids are thousands of years old. People built them long ago as treasure chambers for their pharaohs.”

Pirrewit felt small and amazed as he circled around the pyramids. He could almost imagine how life must have been, with people wandering through the sand and telling stories by the light of torches. For a moment, he felt like a true Egyptian explorer.

But before he knew it, he noticed his wings were starting to disappear. He gently floated down and found himself back by the pond. He opened his eyes and looked around. The Nile geese were gone, and everything was back to normal. But in his heart, he felt as though he had truly seen a piece of Egypt.
