Remembering Old Friends in the Forest
On a beautiful autumn day, the little gnome Pirrewit Wit Wit decided, together with his dear friends, to pay a special visit. They went to the quiet place in the forest where their old friends rested—dear friends who were now part of the nature surrounding them. Pirrewit carried a basket with colorful autumn flowers, and his friends—the squirrel, the bunny, and the little mouse—each had their own little bunch of flowers to bring.
With soft footsteps and whispering voices, they arrived at the spot between the tall trees. “They are always with us here,” whispered Pirrewit. “Every time the sun shines and the leaves rustle in the wind, we know they are close.“
The squirrel placed a bright red mushroom, the bunny laid down a shining yellow daisy, and the mouse had found a purple crocus. “Our friends loved all the colors of the rainbow,” the bunny said softly.
One by one, they laid down their flowers and shared stories about the adventures they’d had together. Like the day they went mushroom hunting with their old friends, or the time they all hid together in a big, cozy haystack. As they laughed and remembered, it almost felt like their friends were quietly listening from the branches above.
As the sun began to set and the shadows grew longer, Pirrewit decided it was time to say goodbye. But in their hearts, they knew that their friends would always be part of the forest—in the flowers, the trees, and the warm memories they had shared.
“Goodbye, dear friends,” they all whispered together. They felt warm and happy inside, as if their friends were softly hugging them.
A warm and tender scene of little gnome Pirrewit and his animal friends in a peaceful forest. Pirrewit, wearing a small red hat and carrying a basket, gently places colorful flowers on a small patch of ground among tall, golden autumn trees. Beside him, a squirrel holds a red mushroom, a rabbit lays down a yellow daisy, and a small mouse adds a purple crocus. The scene is calm, with sunlight filtering softly through the trees, casting gentle shadows. The forest feels alive, peaceful, and connected to nature.
