Duck, Duck, Goose
The gnomes in the forest love playing games, and today they’re playing “Duck, Duck, Goose.” The sun is shining through the trees, and all the gnomes are standing in a circle. Pirrewitje, the little gnome, is walking around the circle, gently tapping each gnome on the head, saying “Duck… Duck… Duck.”
The other gnomes are waiting excitedly because at any moment, Pirrewitje might tap someone and say “Goose!” That gnome will then jump up and run around the circle, chasing Pirrewitje. It’s a fun and exciting game for all the gnomes!
When Pirrewitje finally says “Goose,” Kabouter Brommetje, who is always a little sleepy, is chosen. He quickly stands up and starts running after Pirrewitje. Everyone laughs and cheers as they race around the circle. In the end, all the gnomes are tired from the fun, so they sit down together and enjoy some delicious blueberry pie.
